Building generational stability & wealth for people returning home from prisons and jails

Ruchell Cinqué Magee, one of the longest held political prisoners in the US, left behind a reputation as a firebrand, earned during his lifelong struggle for liberation & a long record of jailhouse lawyering.

We welcomed Cinqué home in July of last year after 67 years spent behind bars, just 3 months before his passing.

We’re launching a Community Land Trust in Cinqué’s honor to remember and honor his legacy while providing housing and healing support to reentering individuals & their families.

Our goal is to carry on Cinqué's legacy with a Community Land Trust in his name to support returning community members who, like Cinqué, have spent years working slave wages in prison with nothing to show for it at release.

Our hope is to be able to create and build the kind of long-term futures, stability, and wealth that they, their families, and Ruchell deserve.
